a lavish Arabian Nights-style world, in
which two brothers explore magical lands

A long time ago two boys are raised as
brothers. Azur, blue eyes and blonde hair,
son of a lord, and Asmar, black eyes and
brown hair, son of the nanny. Some years
later, the brothers embark on a quest to
find the beautiful Fairy Djinn. Our heroes
encounter the Scarlet Lion and a giant,
regal bird, and many other delights…
More than an engaging and beautifully
animated film, Azur and Asmar is a
persuasive and elegant plea for tolerance.
