spacer Blame it on Mum
Quelque chose á te dire

Director: Cécile Telerman
Actors: Charlotte Rampling / Mathilde Seigner / Pascal Elbé / P. Chesnais / O. Marchal

This jubilant all-star comedy is centered on the theme of family secrets and their frequently unexpected consequences.

The Celliers are an ordinary family... they're all crazy! Sixty-something matriarch Mady spends her time criticizing her two daughters. Patriarch Henry, ex captain-of-industry, appears to be regressing since his retirement. Antoine, the older brother, is incapable of managing a company and runs from one bankruptcy to another. Alice his artist sister compulsively paints gloomy Madonnas and youngest, Annabelle, is an intensive care nurse who tries to predict a happy future for them with cards.

Yet everything would have been fine in the Celliers' household if Alice had not, during an evening of depression, "accidentally" run into Jacques, a jaded lone-wolf cop. His introduction to the family is the grain of sand that grates in the perfectly-oiled wheels of their neuroses, exacerbating everything... for better or worse.
