This wonderfully intricate new romantic comedy from Pierre Jolivet sparkles from
start to finish.
Forty-three-year-old Lucas (Vincent
Lindon), a rich, divorced industrialist, is
irresistibly attracted to thirty-eight-year-old
Elsa (Sandrine Bonnaire), a renowned
ceramist whom he's commissioned to
create a fresco for his office foyer. But,
still smarting from a recent
disappointment in love, he asks Roland
Christin (François Berléand), a private
detective from his company, to put her
under surveillance!
Bonnaire, just shy of 40, has been acting
onscreen for nearly 25 years, yet this
marks her first real comedy - and she
shines. The chemistry between the two
leads is undeniable, and irresistible.
