TEFAL / FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. To be eligible to enter, consumers must fully complete the official entry form available on the Alliance Française French Film Festival 2008 website: www.frenchfilmfestival.org, including an answer to the question "Based on the synopsis of the Alliance Francaise French Film Festival 2008, which movie would inspire you the most to go to France, and why?" in 25 words or less.
5. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) each entry must be substantially unique; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
6. Incomplete, incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
7. Promotion commences on 05/03/08 and ends on 06/04/08 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 11:59pm AEDST on 06/04/08. The pre-selection will take place at Alliance Francaise de Sydney, Level 9, 301 George St, Sydney NSW 2000. The final judging will take place at Unit 1, 10 Hill Road Homebush Bay NSW 2127 on 15/04/08 at 3:00pm AEST. Winners will be notified by telephone and mail.
8. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit of the answer provided to the question. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. The total maximum prize pool is valued at up to AUD$5038. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for other prizes or cash.
12. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parents or guardian
13. Prizes will be finalised and determined in the Promoter's sole discretion and are subject to the participating service providers' terms and conditions.
14. If any prize (or any part of any prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
15. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize or element of the prize. After the winner has accepted confirmed travel dates, no changes will be permitted. If the winner is unable to travel on the agreed and confirmed dates, the prize will be forfeited.
16. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
17. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
18. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
19. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the competition is free and constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. Consent of parent or guardian should be obtained where a minor may be a participant in the competition.
4. The promotion commences at 12.00am AEST on 5 February 2008 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 6th April 2008 (Promotion Period).

6. The pre-selection will take place at Alliance Francaise de Sydney, Level 9, 301 George St, Sydney NSW 2000. The final judging will take place at Unit 1, 10 Hill Road Homebush Bay NSW 2127 on 15/04/08 at 3:00pm AEST. Winners will be notified by telephone and mail.

9. Major Prize details: The best judged entry as determined by the judges will win the Major prize. The Major Prize consists of Two (2) return economy tickets to Europe from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney, via Singapore, on a Qantas operated flight from Australia to Singapore (as part of a code-share agreement with Air France), which will be posted to them to the Australian address provided on the entry form.
The total prize value is $4,000 (each ticket is worth $2,000) Retail Recommended Price. Please allow 28 working days prior to intended dates of travel to process your reservation. Confirmation will be subject to seat availability. Tickets won may be utilised in any season and are valid for one (1) year from date of issue.
10. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants' names, addresses, telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise interfered with due to problems with the Internet or telecommunications services.
12. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize or element of the prize. After the winner has accepted confirmed travel dates, no changes will be permitted. If the winner is unable to travel on the agreed and confirmed dates, the prize will be forfeited.
13. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
14. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.
15. Spending money transport to and from venues and all ancillary costs are the responsibility of the prize winners and their guest.
16. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of NSW Australia.
